WELCOME TO THE PREMIERE ISSUE OF SWINGERS VOICE -- our streamlined digital update of a classic “old media” model. On SwingersDateClub.com we constantly strive to fine-tune our site, using an array of state-of-the-art Web technologies to keep you instantaneously in touch with swinging couples right in your neighborhood or half-way around the world. But precisely because we work so hard to deliver a state-of-the-art social networking site, we realized recently there was something missing from the mix... namely an exactly OPPOSITE site... one that could slow things down to a more leisurely pace... a site that would offer a pinch of culture and a dash of class to leisurely online explorations of this intriguing global phenomenon we call the Lifestyle.

WE DECIDED TO GO BACK TO BASICS and present an online version of the kind of offerings "old school" print publications are still superior at delivering....  Simply put, a Lifestyle magazine filled with good things to read and great things to look at. Here's what our Premiere issue has in store for you:

It is fitting that JANICE FREELAND's elegant photography should grace both our cover and the pages of our first Art Gallery. Freeland is a world-class erotic portraitist... and she finds many of her sensuous subjects through her close connection to the Lifestyle.

Photojournalist NATASHA MANITOBA is a chronicler of the Lifestyle too. Her words and pictures have appeared in major adult publications from Playboy, Hustler and High Society to Penthouse/Forum, Club and Leg Show. In our Travel section Manitoba takes us to Philadelphia, America's Cradle of Liberty for the Diabolique Ball, quite an extreme exercise of liberty indeed.

In our Lifestyle section RICHARD ANTON DIAZ approaches swinging from a completely unique perspective. Long a student of Eastern philosophies and religions, Diaz conducts lectures, workshops and other explorations of the interconnection between sensuality and spiritual enlightenment. We believe you'll find his observations illuminating.

Free Love by JEFFREY PRICE MICHELSON is our Fiction selection; a  manic memoir of swinging through the '70s, as delirious as that sex-drugs-and-rock'n'roll-drenched decade itself. It's especially appropriate that our first issue should contain this memoir, because nearly 30 years ago Michelson launched Puritan, the first upscale magazine devoted to explicit explorations of the Lifestyle.

We are especially pleased to present Michelson's piece with an introduction by America's most brilliantly provocative man of letters (and a creator of transcendent erotic writing himself) NORMAN MAILER.

KALI MORGAN lectures on sexual subjects as well. She also operates an erotic boutique, and organizes the hottest fetish parties in the Northeast. In our Fashion section Morgan counsels readers about what to wear for success at swing gatherings public and private, how to wear it... and how to take it off.

Rounding out our issue, in Club Scene LITTLE ALLEN, host of world-famous Trapeze's flagship Florida club delivers lighthearted and serious suggestions for couples venturing into on-premises swing clubs for the first time.... Actress/author AUNT ALICE administers able advice to the lustlorn.... And comedian CHRIS VEE presents his musings about the delicate art of shaving areas far south of the jaw line. Chris was an ideal choice to fill the Humor slot and allow readers to exit our first issue laughing.... When performing his stand-up act in Lifestyle clubs around the Southwest, Chris Vee bills himself as (what else?)... The Swingers' Comedian.
